Paul Kaye (1950s-1960s). Father and son photographic team (both called Paul) who captured street imagery in southwest London in the mid-20th century, as well as animals and pets in a series called Unusual Friends. Click here for images

Jessie Marion King (1875-1949), Scottish illustrator and jewellery designer. Part of the Glasgow School that included Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Click here for images

Raphael Kirchner (1876-1917), Austrian portrait painter and illustrator. Best-known for early pin-up work popular during the First World War. Click here for images

Paul Klee (1879-1940), Swiss-born German artist influenced mainly by Expressionism, Cubism and Surrealism, with a strong interest in colour theory. He taught at the Bauhaus school in Germany. Click here for images

Details	Photograph in the Illustrated London News, showing 'Portrait of a Lady' from the Flemish School, once attributed to Anthony Van Dyck. The picture, showing a partially cleaned portion, formed part of an exhibition at the National Gallery which revealed the gallery's cleaning and restoration methods.
